Politicians or Terrorists

Who needs terrorists to strike fear into the hearts of Americans when we Have Politicians to do it for us. Once again they have found an excuse to hold a pissing contest up on Capitol Hill, only this time there is more at stake.
Everyday we hear statements from both sides how they won't back down, and with time quickly running out, and no agreement reached it will force this country into Financial Chaos. Stock Markets will crash. Unemployment Rates will Skyrocket. Government Checks such as Social Security will not be issued. People's bills will not be paid. The Economy will Crash and Burn.
Who needs the Al Queda when we have our own Government performing acts of terrorism against us?

I wonder if People will jump from the windows like they did in the Great Depression....

Have We Lost The Spirit of 1776

This Country was founded to create o freedom for everyone, not just a select few. Freedom of Religion was a big issue back in 1776. Our forefathers wanted the right to be able to worship as they saw fit without answering to The Mother Church of England. They bound together and worked hard, provided for one another's needs, and a Democracy was formed. For the People , By The People. A Spirit of Unity.
Does this still hold true today? Many of us would like to think so, but let's examine some current agendas facing us today.
Social welfare programs designed to help the impoverished have been drastically reduced if not eliminated, despite the objections of constituents. While the Higher Bracketed Income Based Wage Earners still enjoy Tax breaks.
Programs such as Planned Parenthood which provide Health Screenings to Low Income Women and Teens have come under fire and face extinction. They cite lack of funding, but in reality they are using it to promote their Religious Beliefs calling everyone who uses Planned Parenthood "Baby Killers".  Politicians should respect the rights of everyone to observe their own religion, and not be so ignorant as to suggest Birth control or a Cancer Screening is an Abortion.
A True American would not let his Brother starve in the street.

How Hospice helped Nancie Beat Cancer

Nancie had Lung Cancer that had spread to her brain. She fought it until she could no longer physically fight it anymore, along with the help of Hospice and her Biological Daughter, who became her Medical Power of Attorney, Nancie won her WAR with Cancer. Yes she did pass away, but problems thst she struggled with all her life were finally given closure. Nancie was granted peace.
Here is her story:

She met her husband Mosey through our Aunt Eleanor and it was love at first sight. Her and Mosey had their problems and she eventually came back home pregnant with her daughter Lisa, but she never really got over Mosey. In fact his picture was in the room with her when she died.

My sister Nancie was my best friend, and I could go to her for anything. She practically raised me. So many things will remind me of her now that she is gone. Roses, she loved roses, and Elvis, and Stephan King. Most of all I would say Nancie loved her family.

Her  two daughters Lisa and Debbie and the third one who she doted on as if she were her daughter Chloe. Her grandchildren.  Jacob, Matthew, Gabe, Shayla and Bella who’s smile can brighten up any room.

Nancie fought Cancer to the bitter end. She loved and cared for her children and wanted to make sure all was right before she left.

There was just one thing she wanted personally for herself before she could pass on, and only Matthew could give that to her. Matthew had finally understood that Nancie was his Grandmother, and he went to her deathbed and called her Grandma Nana and kissed her goodbye. She had found closure, and all her loose ends were tied up.

Nancie passed on while holding Lisa’s hand, together they visualized the River to Crossover and how she was to be restored. With a Kiss Goodbye  and affirmations of her good Mothering skills, Nancie passed away.

She is free from suffering, free from pain. Many things were revealed to her along her journey. Cancer didn’t win. Nancie Won.

Let Ryan Dunn RIP you Cowards

Westboro Baptist Church apparently has announced plans to picket Ryan Dunn's funeral.
To boycott or picket someone's funeral is cowardice at it's finest. A funeral is for the mourners left behind, a gathering of friends and loved ones to pay their respects at soneone's passing , not a time for someone to push their Political or Moral Agenda.
We all leave behind an Esoteric Impression on this World. It is an Energy Fingerprint, Ryan Dunn left one, as will anyone who reads this post. While it is true his death was a tragedy, in large part I say this because alcohol was involved, it does not give anyone the right to taint his memory at his funeral.
To go to someone's memorial service and hold a rally proclaiming that they are going to hell and to say that you are doing it in the name God is not only Cowardice but it is also downright Blasphemous.

Weiner & The 2012 Campaign

Congressman Weiner  has finally decided to put an end to what some have dubbed "  WeinerGate" by disclosing to his inner circle that he will be resigning.  I am sure that his colleagues on the hill will be brearhing a collective sigh of relief as they have conducted a witchhunt for the man since this whole mess came to light.

I ask you this question though, did Congressman Weiner do anything that other politicians haven't themselves done and been found guilty of? Politicians like Presidents Thomas Jefferson and Bill Clinton for example to this day are held in high regard?


Perhaps one of Weiner's big problems is it is an Election Year for President Obama, who is already down in the polls and this scandal just portrays the Democrats in an even worse light, so sorry about your luck Weiner, we know everybody does it, but your head needs to roll. It is for the greater good. Next time don't get caught with your pants down!

Guardians at The Gate

When he opened that old metal closet
The past came pouring out onto the floor
I felt the blood rush from my body my head swirled
All of those dirty little secrets they tried so hard to bury

Creating other entities to handle the work for me

Jurors who Contaminate the Pool

Is Justice Blind, or are Prosecutors when they pick them? Do they just grab any registered voter off the street without questioning them or checking into their background?

Jury Duty is something that the normal person would not want to be called upon for. It is considered an inconvenience to most, and a moral quandry to others to cast judgement upon others, but there are exceptions to the rule. Take for instance someone who is proud to their community service. this is honorable. There is also the individual who does it for the pittance of a jury pay they are allotted by the system. This is abominable.

In the County where I live I know for a fact that they have called juror who has claimed to be the victim of multiple sexual and domestic assaults. Her niece was the victim of a sexual predator. This surely excludes her from service. Why then would The DA allow her to sit on his Jury? There are court documents to support all the claims I have just made. This is not slander or Libel.

I believe that everyone deserves a fair and impartial trial. There is a reason why Lady Justice wears a Blindfold.

Sympathy For the Devil

Poor Anthony Weiner, got caught exposing his chest. Big Deal. He has a very powerful position and is under a lot of stress, and oh yeah did we forget he is a human being?

Now there are alot of you who don't understand the concept of TPE or Total Power Exchange. This is usually whereby a man who holds a position of high power with a lot of stress needs somewhere to let go of that stress , to pass the baton if you will. Generally these men will seek strong agressive women to take control for a short time, often times these women are referred to as Dommes or a Mistress.

It is through the act of their submission to the Mistress, that their burden is lightened and they are able to go on and continue their work week without having a nervous breakdown or becoming addicted to liquor or sedatives.

Sex is not always involved in a Domme session, often times the gentleman simply does as the Domme commands.

Let's not be so judgmental, and at least be informed if we are going to be pious assholes.

Say it Loud & Be Proud

I was having a conversation with some old friends of mine about phony closeted people. I thank God everyday that I am not one of those people. Does this cause me grief sometimes? Yes. But I can hold my head up with dignity knowing that to mine ownself I am being true.


I am an Aggressive Bisexual Dominant Mistress.  I think the words Dominant and Mistress scare people more than anything else. I used to try to hide these facts about myself, but I deserve to be me, and they are only facets of my personality. I am also creative, I enjoy writing, and working with others. I love to help other people, and my heart suffers when I see a child suffer as I once suffered, or a woman struggling to get out of an abusive relationship, trying so hard to muster up enough courage to give the next day another shot.

There are a few who are afraid to be associated with me. A Dominant Woman scares some men and they are afraid of the implications. I say it is their loss. Everyone should be proud of whomever and whatever they are. Name it and Claim it. I am Lisa, I am a Bisexual Mistress, and I am saying it LOUD & PROUD.

The Temple Within

Recently I fell off my path due the Media Blitz provided by Harold Camping and Family Radio, and for this I paid a dear price. I acquired Doomsday Depression. My mind and Body were not in synch with eachother. it was as if I had amnesia and forgotten everything I had known to be true.

While I was obsessing over this Science Fiction Movie called The Rapture that was playing out in the Media,  I began to doubt my worthiness as a human being, and if I would be able to be caught up in the clouds with Christ.  I began to cry all the time, lost interest in my daily activities, and was not honouring any belief sysyem whatsoever. I did pray, but it was not like I had before.

During the time My Mind was Raptured I had forgotten important elements necessary to my Spiritual Survival.  The Bible states that in my Father's home there are many Mansion, or dwelling places, if you prefer. On My Journey I have come to decipher this as meaning the dwelling places are literally US. The Bible also talks about the body being a temple for the Holy Spirit to reside in.  If the Holy Spirit resides in us and we are temples of a Living God. Then God is with us all the time. We do not have to wait for him to return. We need to live our lives full of love and kindness free from hate and abuse. We need to live harmoniously, and embrace the Holy Spirit within.

ZOMBIE ALERT

The impending doom of the Rapture has created a Zombie alert with The CDC issuing a statement on Survival techniques should a Zombie Apocalypse arise.

I must admit that a the thought Christ's Epic Return to save us all from ourselves does sound epic and breathtaking and I suppose if you dig hard enough you might find it in the Bible. You will also find in the Bible that Christ will come as a Thief in the Night. What does this mean?

When a thief comes in the night he catches you off guard, and there is no way to predict the hour of his arrival or you would surely be prepared for him. Jesus is that thief in the night, he decides when to come, and although some Religious Zealot thinks he has pinpointed the hour of his return. Do you really think he can outsmart Jesus Christ?

Scwarzenegger's Vanity

Is it a coincidence that Arnold Schwazenegger decides after all these years to release the details of his affair that culminated with the production of a Love Child? Can anyone say " PUBLICIZE CRY MACHO" any louder!

This is a shameless attempt to resurrect an acting career. Not to mention the destruction it brings to his wife and family and yes even to the child he fathered in secrecy.  I understand that indiscretions do happen, but what are his motives for coming clean now, if not to jump start his career.

Schwarzenegger needed to remind Hollywood and his Fans that he was still a a a Suave Playboy, Not Conservative Republican that he has become known for, so he chose this time to release the details of his affair.

Only problem is having a baby with another woman virtually days apart from having one with your wife, doesn't make you a Suave Playboy, it makes you a Chauvinistic Pig, and not an Action Hero, but an Action Loser.

Theft of The Soul

Theft of the Soul is what I  think happens to a child when they are so severely damaged by a violent act of sexual abuse that they fragment.

We need to take care of these fragile developing souls, and build them up. Provide them help and encouragement.

Sticking It Up The World's Ass

Tossing the Blame of Al Quaeda back on us was what the Prime Minster of Pakistan had to say in his defense of harbouring one of if not if the world's most Notorious Masterminds of Evil.

We were not providing Osama Bin Laden a safe haven, he was.

BUT...

In  retrospect we are guilty of aiding the Taliban forces when they were at war with The Soviet Union. We funneled them Money and Weapons, and  fed their cause. They were a Rebel Alliance in Afghanistan and The Soviet Union  was at war with Afghanistan, and it hurts me to say this, but our Government did not research the Ally they were jumping in to bed with, for they hopped into bed with the Enemy. At the time we still had the Cold War Mentality, and thought we were sticking one to the Russians. Surprise , we not only stuck one to the Russians, but we stuck one in our own ass and  The World's Collective Ass.

Look before you leap into bed with someone. Know who your Partner is.

My 2 Mothers

My life has always been complicated to say the very least, and nothing has ever come  easy for me, including parents.
I had two Mothers. No they were not lesbians, they were Mother and Daughter.  My Biological Mother was turned into Children services for abuse and neglect, and My Grandmother and Grandfather agreed to take guardianship of me. We all stayed in the same house, and I remember thinking of my biological mother as my sister when I was small, calling My Grandmother "Ma" and always calling my grandfather Daddy.
Truth is it was the man I thought was My brother, whom I found out was my uncle, and  my "Daddy" who spent most of the time shaping my youth, and my ideals.  My Grandmother was jealous of me, feeling that I took too much time away from her marriage, and my biological mother had raised all of her sisters and her brother and was tired of kids, and she had a new baby, my sister from her lover to take care of. This sort of left me to my own devices.
I was Daddy's sobriety baby, a chance to redeem himself and do all the the right things with me that he did wrong with his own children. He was determined to educate me. At the age of 3 he had me sitting at the kitchen table reading Hemingway, writing in Penmanship Books and doing 11th grad Business Math. I suppose he used these books because they were handy, and were laying about the house. I would look out the kitchen window and watch the neighborhood children play on my swing set with my baby sister, and feel guilty for being jealous. I wanted to feel the sun on my skin. I wanted to play outside and laugh, but Daddy loved me, and I had to listen to him. There was no one to watch me while he was working at the mill, so I would put in my time studying, and getting lost in the books and learning kept me from harm. Perhaps Daddy knew what he was doing.
I still honour the memory of both of my Mothers, as I am sure they loved me as much as they were capable of at that given point in time. Respect is another thing my Daddy taught me. I respect My Biological Mother, she gave birth to me, and she did the best she could I suppose, and I loved her. I Respect My Ma for giving me a home, and for doing the best she could. They were both good Grandmothers to my children.

Bin Laden, Hitler, Same Agenda

I for one am pleased that Osama Bin Laden has finally been taken out by The United States. There are those that have in recent days have expressed a distaste for the death of the fallen terrorist leader. I am dumbfounded by this on several levels, although I do try to see their point, I just can't find any compassion for this man.
The Bin Laden sympathizers quote the Bible, saying things like
God said "Thou shalt not kill" or other verses that state it is wrong to revel and rejoice in the death of your enemy. The problem with this is, these sympathizers are forgetting who Osama Bin Laden was and what he stood for and did for that matter.
First off he declared a Jihad, you sympathizing fools, that I am pretty sure is still underway. A Jihad is a HOLY WAR. That means the war is against people like you who have the freedom to spout verses of Christianity on his behalf. The Jihad was designed  to take away tour Christian Rights, because you are not Muslim. I am not saying in way that all Muslims or The Nation of Islam condones this in any way, but this is the cloak he hid behind, much the same way Hitler hid behind Christianity when he slaughtered so many Jews. Hitler's war was a Holy War also. He took away the rights of all the Jews, struck Fear and Terror into their hearts, and eventually slaughtered them, Could you imagine what would would have happenned if Hitler had not been stopped?
Osama Bin Laden was doing to World, particularly , the Western Free World, what Hitler did to The Jews. So all of you Bin Laden Sympathizers ask yourself this one question, Do i feel sorry for Adolf Hitler too? Am I saddened at the loss of Hitler, or is the world a better place without him too?

Matt, Nana, &The King

Yesterday My 19 year old Autistic son Matthew began to cry, which is quite unusual for him, as he rarely cries. I immediately asked him what was wrong and he told me he was crying because his Nana yelled at him for having mud all over his shoes.  I had to stop and think for a minute about what I was going to say next because his Nana has been dead since Halloween of 2010.  Finally I summoned up enough courage to ask him if he was remembering her, and he told me that he was.
This was a good thing for Matt, as he hasn't been able to talk about his Nana's Death since her passing. I invited him to sit by me so we could talk more about it. I couldn't pass up the chance for him to express his feelings as communication is often hard with him.
He shared memories of making her watch Mysterious Island over and over again, and of eating her Fried Chicken. He also talked about playing some kind of video game called Four Swords with a fellow named Link in it. Sorry I know nothing of Video Games, guess that's why Nana was cool. Then he talked about listening to The King with Nana, he came on the radio. It was as if she were there with us.
I told Matt to hold those good memories of Nana close in his heart, and when he starts missing her, remember her when she was happy and having good times with him, and it will feel like she is giving him a great big hug.

I believe that a person's energy or soul if you will touches those around them during their lifetime. They leave behind trace elements of that energy. It is up to us to use that energy for good. There is good in everyone.

Falling Dominoes- a poem

Like a set of falling dominoes
One life touches the other
In a World that never slows
We all drone away together

The Price is passed on
Or so it would seem
To The next Generation

We all pay a heavy price
For all their crimes
We are mere grains of rice
It's a sign of  Times

Gas Prices are Killing The Economy

This is the way the so called Domino Theory comes into action. Gas prices rise to an astronomical level, in some places the average $4.25 a gallon. Diesel is just as high, if not higher. The companies that transport good to the local supermarket feel the pain at the pump, and charge the supermarket a higher price for their services, so the supermarket in turn charges the consumer a higher price to cover the whammy he was just slapped with.

In the meantime the average person is already paying outrageous prices at the pump. He spends so much on fuel, that he can no longer afford to go shopping for luxury items, or go out for date night to the movies, or even out to dinner. His money is all spent on bills and his gas tank.


The Dominoes just keep falling.

I would suggest we dump Oil into the Ocean as a means of a Protest of the High Prices, but that is Morally and Etihcally wrong, and besides I think BP beat me to the Punch.

For Bella &The Earth Children

I have a grand daughter whose smile spreads from her lips to her eyes. This in turn spreads to my heart, and overwhelms it with a smile. Her name is Bella and she lives up to her name which means beautiful.

Her wide eyed innocence and laughter is amazing. I am grateful that she has the ability to see beauty in the world, for there are glimpses of it if you look hard enough for it.

Bella lives an Organic lifestyle, and is an Earth Friendly Toddler, her food is Farm Fresh, Her Diapers are Made of Cloth. even he Play Ball is made of 100% Recycled Material. She loves her pets, and her parents. She an Earth Child.

There are other Earth Children out there with Earth Parents who do the Right thing day after day, with the hopes of preserving our Great Planet for The Next Generation and Future Generations to come, but they can't do it all by themselves. 

If you Keep Taking From Mother Earth, and not putting anything back, soon all of our Natural Resources will be depleted. This leaves nothing for The Smiles of Bella and the Other Earth Children. I IMPLORE you, Please do your part for The Earth Children.

4 DEAD IN OHIO

I know many of you out there will probably hate me for saying this, but I feel perhaps America is being a Bit of a Hypocrite when it says it supports Peaceful Demonstrations, and offers helps to Rebels in other countries when they rise up against their Government.

I am not Anti-American. I love this Country. I just haven't forgotten what happened when a Group of Intellectual College Students who were against the bombings in Cambodia and The Vietnam War decided to assemble on The Kent State University Campus and hold a Demonstration of their Protest. Our Government didn't respond kindly to their right to assemble, or to protest the war. Instead , The National Guard was called in to break up the event, and they used force. Shots were fired, against unarmed students, and lives were lost, because they spoke out against the Government. Does any of this sound familiar to the way things are handled in other countries today?

Christ, The First Humanitarian

This Friday, April 22nd is Earth Day, it is also Good Friday. How fitting that both of them fall on the same day. They both represent Hope for Our Earth and Humanity. Earth Day is supposed to be a day of renewal for the Earth, and Good Friday is observed as the Day The Lord Jesus Christ was sacrificed for humanity on the cross at calvary so that their could be a renewal of Humanity here on Earth .

Theologians will say that Christ was here so that we could have Eternal Life one Day, or at least have the hope of Eternal Life, but I dare to say that is not the only reason he was here. Christ came here to teach humanity to humans who did not know how to be human. he taught us that it was okay not to be perfect, that he had that job covered for us. He taught us to love one another and to not be bigotted. Christ accepted the Gentiles , who were in his day, looked upon as trash, but it was the Gentiles, and Mary Magdalene, who was looked upon as a woman of loose morals, whom Christ chose to associate with. Christ was not Racist, nor was he Condescending. This Perfect Man , who was in fact better than every one else, did not portray himself in that light. He wore an air of humility and grace. He was a Beacon of Light , spreading the knowledge of Love and Compassion wherever he took his Ministry.

I believe that Christ was The Original Humanitarian, and to that end I owe him everything, for he has taught me everything.

Emancipation Day-A Day of Empowerment

On April 16, 1862 President Abraham Lincoln signed The Emancipation Proclamation and and turned a page a in history as we knew it in America.

No longer were people allowed to be owned like cattle, they were given their basic human rights back, in theory. Though it would be  a long time coming, and unfortunately in some instances bigotry and hatred still prevail with those who still feel a certain sense of entitlement.

I do celebrate the abolishment of slavery, and observe Emancipation Day. I believe that all men were created equal and are thus granted certain inalienable rights. We have the right to be free from restraint. We have the right to freedom of speech. We have the right to breathe fresh air, and drink clean water. To be free from oppression. We have the right to love and be loved. We have the right to live.

I will not be oppressed. I will not let anyone hold me down again. I have the right to love and be loved. I am free in America, and I am Emancipated, Empowered.

Civil War 2-Rich vs Poor

I was watching a movie on The Civil War last night, and like President Obama , President Lincoln is one of the people who inspire me.  He took a great risk going to war when the country was divided, going to war against it's self to end oppression and try to even the playing field.

Today the poor are still oppressed by those who feel a sense of entitlement, who were born into money, find ways to avoid paying their taxes, and use their employees to pay their taxes for them, They use their power and prestige to lobby those in congress and senate to make the tides turn their way, and do it under the guise of "Old Time Moral Values".  Just like The Confederacy, they have a lifestyle to preserve, a heritage and a legacy that they stand for. they are after all, Conservative America, Right?

I have Southern Roots, but I also know that in the south you take care of your family. America is supposed to be a Family. United as One. Even Up The Playing Field For Tax Payers

If a person on a federally funded program receives a cash gift from someone they are mandated by law to report it as it affects their benefits. It is considered income. This Monetary Gift could affect their Benefits. They are not entitled.

On the other hand...

If you come from "Old Money" you are allowed to receive all the monetary gifts you want, and don't have to pay taxes on it either, even if it is your sole source of income. Furhtermore when the money is transferred from Grandpa's account he not only is exempt from paying taxes on it, he gets to write you off as a charity. A three way win.

Is this "Old Money" doing anything for the Economy? NO. it does not work for America, it just bounces around from bank account, to bank account, avoiding taxation and all with the Government's Approval. If Tax Law's were adjusted and some of the loopholes were tied up, maybe the Poverty Stricken Working Class who just can't seem to cut a break wouldn't have to carry the burden of the country's deficit alone.

Listen Up Republican's, your answer to the deficit lies in evening up the playing field.

Civil War II in America?

Could another Civil War happen in this Country? That sounds unrealistic to some, but some people can only be pushed so far as we are finding out in the Middle east and now even in China there are hints of Civil Unrest amongst the population.

This American Citizen is well aware of the fact that our country is in debt to point it is literally choking on it's own blood from years of wasteful spending on quite frankly, if I am honest, years spent in a war we had no business in, and today the people repay our troops by protesting in the streets for them to get out of their country. Money has also been wasted lining the pockets of friends of politicians known as lobbyists, big oil brokers, wall street tycoons, Insurance Company CEO's, and all this was done under the watchful eye of a Republican Administration.

Now the Republicans in an effort to cleanup an eight year mess want to take away all social reform programs, calling them "Luxury Spending". Since when did a cancer screening for a woman become a luxury? Since when did preventing and HIV Pandemic become a Luxury? Stopping funding to Planned Parenthood under the guise of Pro Life is False Advertising, and a Marketing strategy for the Republican Party. Without Education and Resources, any impoverished teens could contract HIV and spread it unknowingly, causing a Pandemic. The State of Mississippi already subscribes to Doctrine of Ignorance. Are the Republicans poising themselves for another Civil War?

Let a Mother Fix The Budget Crisis

It appears our Government is going to shut down while Libya's Government continues to function, Ironic isn't it? Perhaps we have a few Tyrants of our own up on Capitol Hill who are just so damned used to having their own way they aren't willing to budge for the good of their own country. Perhaps we need a Regime Change. I am in no way blaming this on the President, as he has encouraged them to get this document signed on numerous occasions. Each party simply has their own agenda and proving who is right and who is wrong is much more important than what's really at stake for this country.

Why in the hell has it taken so long to come up with a budget anyway? Honestly. I, like many other Americans am on a fixed income and have to budget my money and decide what money is essential, like paying the bills, and what is discretionary , like say perhaps buying my Autistic son a treat. Am I perfect at this? No, sometimes it breaks my heart to tell him that Mommy can't afford to buy him a new radio this month, maybe next month, or we will save up for it. The point is everyone learns to live within their means, and they know which bills are the important ones also and which ones are the luxury ones too.

So I say this to you Ego Maniacs on Capitol Hill, If you can't do your job, the let some of us who have been living on Fixed Incomes for years do it. We know how to get the job done.

Does Your Elected Official Work for You or Their Own EGO?

The inability for the Democrats and Republicans to come to an agreement over a budget is clearly a Battle of EGOS. It has become a contest of who's penis is bigger, the DEMS or the GOPs. This is not what we elected them to do.

Granted we did elect them to be our voice on issues that matter, and I am in no way saying that Money does not matter to Americans, but they are bickering essentially over the right to have their way. It is no longer a matter of what is best for our country. Our country could very well shut down, people would be put out of work, lose resources, and all because they want to prove they are the RIGHT one.

Capitol Hill is holding America Hostage much the same way The Libyan Regime does its' people. The only difference being we trusted these people to do a job for us, we elected them to work For The People.  They need to Remember that they work for the PEOPLE , not their damn Political Party, whether it be Democrat or Republican, and Give the Power to to the People.

I am in no way suggesting a Regime Change, I do not Blame President Obama for this Mess, BUT, come next election Rember that these Arrogant, Egotistical, SOBS are willing to compromise your Government because they want to throw Temper Tantrums and don't know how to compromise and get the job done.

Did Mr. Wanna Be Pastor Jones Start The Muslim Witch Trials?

Was the Preacher in Florida who burned the Qur'an afraid of losing his grip on his flock? Perhaps. To burn a Book, especially a Holy Book signifies one's insecurites within themselves. It was without a doubt a condemnable act he committed. This is America. Our Fore Fathers suffered a very hard season to have Freedom of Religion. That means Freedom for everyone, not just a few select.
Perhaps he was afraid the Muslim Holy Book would fall into the wrong hands and all the black and white members of his congregation would turn to colour as they did in the movie "Pleasantville", when they began to read previously forbidden materials. Or perhaps he is much darker, and seeks to run a Modern Day Inquisition. A New Age Salem Witch Trial. We will call it a Muslim Witch Trial, and anyone who doesn't believe as Pastor Jones and his co-horts do must be banished, or burned at the stake.
It bothers me to even call this man a Pastor, for a TRUE man of God, know that Love is all powerful, not spreading hate, and bigotry.
Mr. Wanna Be Pastor Jones Muslim Witch Triials have backfired it seems and have impacted the world. Innocent people are paying the price for his ignorant hate and the burning of the Muslim Holy Book.  UN workers are being killed, and Americans in Muslim Countries are being targeted because of the actions of ONE Extremely Ignorant Man.

I almost wish Mr wanna be pastor Jones was in The Military, so there could be a Tribunal. 

Autism-Matt's Journey

When my son Matthew was a baby I noticed he wasn't picking up things quite as fast as his sister, who was eighteen months older than him. Being a concerned mother, I asked his pediatrician about it, and his response was, " Don't worry about it. Boys are always slower than girls, and all babies are different."
 
I was still perplexed by the fact that my son was not making any strides in communication skills. There was no babbling, no gooing, not even any eye contact. This did break my heart, but who was I to question the doctor?

I took my son to a WIC appointment where a Nurse picked up on his delays at the age of  two. My son still could not talk. He was just learning to crawl. His attention span was ten seconds tops on a good day. I was a frazzled Mother. I loved my son with all my heart, I longed to hear him look me in the eye and call me Mommy. I knew that I was failing him somehow. What had I done wrong? What did I do to cause this?

The Nurse had someone come over and watch my on while she explained to me that he was Developmentally Delayed. She also explained to me that it was not my fault, and mentioned Autism to me for the first time. God Bless that Nurse at that WIC appointment. She made referrals for my son to have testing done, so that he could finally get some help.

He went from being mute to verbal, though this took a few years and lots of patience, determination, and hard work from him, his educators, family , doctors, and close friends.

Matthew is now 19 years old,  his attention span is well over ten seconds, and he resides with me. He still has a significant speech impediment, but he is WILLING to Communicate. Sometimes hi social Filter isn't right on cue, but I think that adds to his charm.

Earlier I posed a question, who was I to question the Doctor? I am His MOTHER, and I Love him. That's who I am.

All Fool's Day

Believe  it or not April Fool's Day is a Holy day of sorts for fools.

In the Middle Ages, New Year's Day was celebrated on the 25th of March in most of Europe. In some areas of France, New Year's was a week-long holiday ending on the 1st of April.So it's possible that April Fools originated because those who celebrated on the 1st of January made fun of those who celebrated on other dates. The use of the 1st of January as New Year's Day was common in France by the mid-sixteenth century, and this date was adopted officially in1564.

Naturally, believing them all to be Fools, they were to be made a mockery of . A laughing stock of.  I mean who doesn't know when New Year's Day is Right?

We only know because a Calendar tells us so. Not much has really changed since back then, and the world is still full of FOOLS!

Where are You in The Food Chain?

Looking around the world today,  I must confess that I believe there was some truth to Darwin's Theory.  Truly it has become survival of the fittest in this world. And perhaps it has always been this way. Does this mean that I have lost faith in all humanity? No, but I would be a fool to think that the world were full of caring and compassionate people who accept everyone and  reach out and lend a helping hand to those in need, because it isn't.

There are those who are out for themselves and what they can get for themselves. This puts them, theoretically at the Top of the Food Chain. They are Ruthless, Selfish, Power Hungry, and will let nothing stand in their way, and they don't care who they trample to stay on Top of The Food Chain.

Theoretically those on the bottom of the food chain, those that get eaten alive by those at the top, are the down trodden. The ones who have been preyed upon, lost their jobs, had social programs cut by the Government, and maybe they are just getting too tired to fight.

There is however somewhere in the middle, a creature who has not yet become extinct. The Human with a Heart. This Creature doesn't have a whole hell of a lot, but is willing to share with his fellow man. He hasn't lost his voice yet, and still has fight in his body, and will stand up for the down trodden, and those who can't stand up for themselves. This Creature is Humanity's last Best Hope.

Two and a Half Women

I am writing this post today to empower myself. Today on Facebook I noticed that My biological sister had posted a photo of My niece, whom I call Baby Mama.  I have always been a close part of Baby Mama's life, i watched through the glass as her mother had a C- Section.  I bought the child everything she needed to start off in life. She lived with me for the first six months of her life before moving to Florida, and then returned when she was two years old.

Baby Mama spent a great deal of time with me upon her return nearly four years. There were times when I would I feed her, brush her hair, as she would come to me with her looking afright, we would call it "haggy hair", sh has beautiful curly hair.  I would bathe her and clothe her too. I loved being her Auntie.

I always thought of her protection and what was best for her, Her Mother and Brother had Domestic Violence Issues, and when they would erupt, I would put her in my room for safety sake. She is small, and I was always afraid that she would get caught in the line of fire.

In December of 2010 I was fired from Two and a Half Women , and Baby Mama's Mother took her away, as I could no longer condone Domestic Violence in My Home. I did not put my sister out of my house, she decided to leave because I wanted her son to stop laying hands on her under my roof, and to stop damaging my property. I guess some women aren't always ready to get help. It took me awhile to get help too.

I am grateful that there is peace and serenity in my home, and that I can recognize abuse when I see it, and that I don't have to accept it nor condone it. I am also grateful that I can now recognize that I am mourning the loss of this Beautiful Dominican Princess that I helped to Raise and Protect.  A person doesn't have to be dead for you to mourn their loss.

Mississippi Needs Another Medgar Evers

I have written about the Great State of Mississippi before, but I am so passionate about it , I feel compelled to write about it again.
People in Mississippi are dying in part due to bigotry, I believe, and this is just my own personal opinion. Those in charge have decided that HIV?AIDS is an Immoral disease and therefore does not deserve medical treatment although Federal Funds are allotted to their state through The Government's Medicaid Program.
The state refuses to approve life saving education preventative programs to be taught in school teaching only the standard abstinence only theory in it's schools.
The highest rates of HIV exposure are among men who have sex with men, heterosexual women are the second-largest group affected by the disease. Young people in Mississippi are becoming infected with HIV at increasingly high rates. African-Americans constitute 37 percent of the population but 76 percent of new cases of HIV. 
Numerous legal provisions, including constitutional amendments, discriminate against homosexuals, and state sex education laws marginalize lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth. In some instances, state public health workers have been found to harass and threaten people testing positive for HIV. So There we have it, Discrimination, Witholding Medical Treatment, Denial of Education. This is not only a Human Rights Case but a Civil Rights Case.

Eat Your Neighbour, But Don't Forget To Say Grace

Loving thy Neighbour as thyself. What a beautiful Concept right? I guess it's just not always possible in today's day and age for most folks, or Heaven Forbid to Love Thine Enemy as Thyself.

Maybe some of us do Love our Enemies as we love Ourselves, simply because we Do not Love Ourselves. When we are bankrupt in the love  department we can not give away what we do not have.

I will most likely be criticized for this, but I will say it anyway. I was mortified when I heard that people were celebrating the fact that Gadafi's son was killed. Did anyone not feel any compassion that a human life was taken. It is his Father that is the Dictator. Granted the people have discovered that they have the right to participate in a free world and live in a Democratic Society, but He was after all someone's son. I am not in anyway condoning the actions of Gadafi's Regime, nor am I comparing his son to Jesus Christ, nor am I comparing Myself to The Virgin Mary, but For a moment I can step in Gadafi's shoes and feel sympathy, empathy, and compassion. I also think back, seeing as this is this is the Advent Season, on how the Crowds cheered at the execution of Christ, even though Mary knew her son must die for mankind, the pain was overwhelming. I have three children, the pain must have been astounding.

Jesus Christ and John Lennon

Perhaps I am a bit Naive, but Then I suppose John Lennon and Jesus Christ must have been too. I do believe that love conquers all. and ultimately Good does win out over Evil. No I am not being blasphemous in any way, and if you perceive it to be that way, I apologize. I do however strive to be Christ like in my intentions daily.

Does that mean I lead a pure and chaste life. No. What it does mean is that I strive to be of maximum service to mankind each day that I am blessed with breath in my human body. If it is within my means to help someone I do it. I believe it to be a sin against humanity to not do so.

You might be sitting out there and saying " Well, I have no money to give."  Helping your fellow Man is not always done monetarily, we are all blessed with unique talents, and it is up to us to use those talents for good. I have a talent for truth seeking, researching, and writing. Thus if someone were to ask me to help them on a project, it would go against everything I believe in to say no them.  Perhaps you are good at organizing events, and could bring about a Rally or Charity Benefit.

It is Through Loving your Neighbour that We Bring Power to The People and We must never Forget that each and everyone of us are the People.

Libya-Act of Aggression or Humanitarian Act

While I am a Pacifist, I do not endorse the senseless slaughter of your own people because they do not agree with your point of view.  Sometimes I bitch and moan about living in America, but at least I know that I can speak out against the Republicans without fear of them coming to my door and slitting my throat.
There are some who would ask why are we wasting money in Libya while our economy is already so stressed. We are doing this because our country was built on FREEDOM. The people of Libya deserve to be free of Oppression. Free of Fear. They deserve to LIVE.
This was not so much an act of aggression as it was an a Humanitarian Act.
Being a Proud American, I am inclined to say Let Freedom Ring, and Being a John Lennon Fan I am Inclined to say Power To The People!

A Prayer for the World

This is a Prayer I use daily and has become a part of my Creed. While I officially do not subscribe to any religion, I was and am profoundly influenced by the depth of humility, love and humanitarian efforts set forth by Saint Francis. It is better to Give than to Receive, and it is better to Console rather than to be Consoled. When you Truly give of yourself, the peace from within is worth more than all the riches in the world.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love.

Where there is injury, pardon.

Where there is doubt, faith.

Where there is despair, hope.

Where there is darkness, light.

Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,

grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;

to be understood, as to understand;

to be loved, as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive.

It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

Amen.

Don"t Kill The Future JFK or MLK

A vast Majority of us go on in our day to day lives with the assumption that if nothing tragic falls upon me, than it was a good day. Sure they are , for the most part not oblivious to their surroundings, and the atrocities that have overwhelmed their fellow man, but are under the mistaken impression that what happens to them does not affect them. Naturally they feel a slight twinge of discomfort when they see the suffering going on in the world around them, but what they don't understand is why they feel that twinge of discomfort.

Humanity is connected on a deep level, as we are all brothers and sisters, and have been from the beginning of time, whatever religious affiliation you subscribe to, it is hard to argue this one. What affects one of us affects all of us.  I will illustrate this with a few examples.

Today's abused child, that everyone turned a blind eye to, grows up and becomes bitter and mentally ill. Everyone thought it best to mind their own business. The Child of Ambivilance decides it is a good idea to take revenge on the society that has failed him.  He buys a gun and goes on a shooting spree, shooting innocent  children and public officials at political rallies. No One cared enough about him as a child to help him, we turned a blind eye to him because his problems didn't affect us. His problems affect us now Don't They?

The Recent Tragedy in Japan does bring us close r to the realization of how fragile life is. The Tsunami ravaged Japan, adn the Death toll climbs Daily. While Most of us were horrified at the extent of the damage, there were a few of us who were grateful that it wasn't us. That's Just It. IT WAS US! Many people donated ten dollars here or there, but they fail to realize the looming Nuclear Disaster that does affect us.  Anytime Radiation is leeched into the Air, Water, or Earth it is not good for Humanity and it will eventually affect us.

Starving A Child is perhaps one of the worst crimes against humanity you can commit, and yes this does affect us all. To Feed a Child's Body, Mind and Soul is one of the Greatest gifts you can give to Humanity. Would You want it on your conscience that you murdered perhaps the next John F. Kennedy, Albert Einstein, or Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ? Our Children our Humanity's Greatest Resource, and it EVERYONE"S Responsibility to nurture them.

The Path To Enlightenment

I began my path to enlightenment with a young man who had spent time with Monks in Tibet. He had found himself the only survivor in a fatal car accident and sought answers as to why his life was spared. My life was I must admit not as spiritually fit as it could be, and i wanted answers also.

I began to pray. More than that, I began to listen. God is within me, he has never left me and never will.

I revisited the teachings of Christ, from a Spiritual perspective, from a Humanitarian Perspective.

I gained  a new perspective on life an humanity. I truly believe Christ was here to usher in a new era of Humanity based on Equality and Peace. That not one of us created any better than the other as we all come from the same collective race. There should not be "The Haves" and "The Have-Nots' nor should we waste our energies killing in the name of God. We are to take care of one another, truly as brother and sister, and love one another.

Love was the message that Christ spread. There is no Love in senseless slaughter in the name of Freedom, or Starving your Fellow Brothers and Sisters so that you can run a proper Government, and Look Good in your Political Party's Eyes.

Principles, Money, and Power, or even Fame if that's your thing will not bring you any Inner Peace. Loving yourself and spreading the Love is The Answer.

Cloth Diapers&The Garbage Barge

I am writing this for My daughter , who inspires me on so many levels. She is a a Full Time Social Work Major, pursuing her doctorate, she volunteers at the Local Rape Crisis Center, and She is also the Mother of My Beautiful Grandchild, whom I have affectionately dubbed "Princess Feisty Pants". Being a Mother in and of it's self is a full time job, the responsibilities are tremendous, as you literally hold the fate of an innocent child's life in your hands.
Recently My daughter asked me to write about the virtues of Cloth Diapers. My daughter has discovered an organic and healthy approach to parenting, and it has paid off. Princess Feisty Pants has grown from a tiny preemie, actually a micro-preemie in the NICU, to a Growing , Thriving,  toddler who is no longer underweight, and is well adjusted as well.
One decision my daughter made for her child and the future of her child was to use Cloth Diapers. I must admit that I was taken aback when she made this decision, and shame on me when I found out why she did. She also explained to me that they really are more cost effective. I did research this myself and below you will see the numbers.

*Health Standpoint
1. Disposable Diapers contain traces of DIOXIN. a carcinogenic chemical listed by the EPA as most toxic of all cancer linked chemicals.
2.Contain Tributyl-tin (TBT)  a toxic pollutant that causes hormonal problems
3.Contains Sodium Polyacrylate, a super absorbent polymer that turns into a gel when wet. A similar substance used in Tampons was revealed to increase the risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome.

**Environmental Standpoint
1.Disposable Diapers are the Third largest consumer item in Landfills.
2. In households where Disposables are used, Diapers account for Fifty percent of their Waste.
3. It has been estimated that it can take anywhere from 250-500 years for a Disposable Diaper to Decompose.

**Price
Average price of Cloth Diapers are $24.00 a Dozen. The average baby will need approximately 6 dozen over a 2 year span. This comes to a total of $288.00.
Average price for Store Brand Disposable Diapers is $6.29 a box, now multiply this by 104 weeks and you get a total of $654.16

You can argue convenience if you like. You can argue, by the time I wash them, I will be spending more money on detergent and water than the diapers are worth. There are a million ways you can spin this, if you choose. 
 
I would rather have a vision of a happy healthy baby spinning through my mind, than the vision of The Garbage Barge circling a harbor in Islip, New York, because it has ran out of places to dump garbage.

Universal Beliefs of The Goddess

The following are Universal Beliefs. I hold these to be stepping stones to happy and joyous life.
1. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
* This does not mean do unto others before they do unto you, as often we are tempted to do.
2. What we sow, so shall we reap
* If we waste our life putting out negative energy and resentment with gossip and hatred, leaving little or no room for seeds of love to grow, common sense tells us there can be no love where there is no love.
3. We are all created Equal
* Every Human  being was created to be equal, not one of us genetically perfect in our DNA structure.
4. To Enrich your life or the life of another through your experiences, strengths and hopes is a common bond shared within humanity.
* Helping and sharing, even if it is just lending an ear improves the landscape of our planet.
5.  It is through being humble that we master our emotions. Submission is vital to emotional maturity.
* During the act of submission we are free to give completely of ourselves.  Growth comes from humility.

Growing a Consience During Tragedy

If we are honest with ourselves we often don't remember our connections to the rest of humanity until tragedy strikes. Then our conscience kicks in and we remember that we are all members of the same race, an all encompassing race which includes every creed, color, gender,, religion and sexual orientation.  We suddenly realize that when tragedy strikes we must put our senseless bigotries aside and help our fellow man in whatever way we can.

Those of you who only embrace humanity during tragedy, I challenge you. I challenge you to remember the way you are feeling right now. If people struck by tragedy are part of your collective humanity right now, shouldn't they be a part of it everyday?

The "Asking For It" Article in The New York Times

An eleven year old girl was Gang Raped by a total of Eighteen Assailants ranging in age from Middle School age to a Twenty Seven Year Old Man in an abandoned trailer park in a small Texas town.
Do you want to know how I found out about this?
A journalist for a well know newspaper, Sod it all I will Just say it, The New York Times, wrote an article about it.
He interviewed people close to the girl and asked them questions as to her character. and reported statements about the victim such as "Resident's in the neighborhood said she dressed older than her age, wearing makeup and fashions more appropriate to a woman in her twenties."
The reporter also sees fit to remind us, "She would hang out with teenage boys at a playground, some said."

I am all for Freedom of Speech and Freedom of The Press.

BUT..


No Woman , Let alone a an Eleven year old CHILD deserves to be raped simply because of her style of dress or clothing. This article portrays the child in a bad light and Blames the Victim, as if  she were somehow "Asking For It".

Mississippi-Bigotry Kills

It was recently brought to My attention that living in Mississippi with HIV is like having a Curse.
Why you might ask? This is the United States of America, and we are after all a progressive country, and take health and safety measures to avoid epidemics, right?
Mississippi has refused federal funding for those infected with HIV which would allow them to receive Medicaid, in fact the state sued the Government to block them from giving the state funds. The state has the highest death rate amongst any other state for HIV related Deaths.
The state also refuses to educate their youth on HIV Prevention and Teen Pregnancy, instead teaching only abstinence only curriculum.
Ignorance Kills. Bigotry is Ignorance. They are Murdering People with their Ignorant Bigotry.

March is Women's History Month

Today is International Women's Day. A day of Empowerment for Women, Women who have worked hard for humanitarian and peace relations globally.

International Women's Day's Roots began in Russia, where they formally acknowledged the role that women played in their political, social and economic growth. It was actually a display of love and gratitude that Women's Day was started.

Today March is celebrated as Women's History Month in Celebration of women and all of their achievements to our culture, society, and global/humanitarian efforts.

If you are a woman, love, honour and respect yourself.

Educatiional Programming, News Broadcasts. Are They Trying to keep America Uneducated and Misinformed? Do They have a hidden agenda?

They are just trying to exercise Brute Force with their Discretionary Spending Cuts and just plain flat out don't give a shit who they trample on to prove their point.

Does feeding the country's poor sound like a luxury to you? 

 

Does Educating our Children so that we can assure America has a Future sound like a Luxury to you?

Does providing Well Child Clinics, and other Preventative screenings for Health to prevent Pandemics  sound like a Luxury to You?

The Haves and The Have-Nots

This world of ours is unfortunately separated into two categories, "The Haves", and  " The Have-Nots".

"The Haves" are entitled to common basic needs like health care, food, shelter, education, having their dignity and self respect kept in tact.

"The Have-Nots" just can't seem to catch a break in this world of ours. There is no health care for them, there rights get trampled every time they turn around. Often they are homeless due to unemployment, leaving them to die on a cold lonely street somewhere.

Maybe if  "The Haves" weren't so busy singing 'God Bless The Child Who Has His Own" and show some compassion to 'The Have-Nots' , The world would not have to sing 'Mercy, Mercy, Me."

Do The Republicans Really Defend Marriage?

DOMA is just The Latest attack on The LGBT community and it has nothing to do with preserving the sanctity and old fashioned values of traditional marriage as The Conservatives would have you believe.

Pardon Me for being so opinionated on this subject but I will tell you why.

I have met many elderly couples who would love nothing more than to be married to one another, and live as husband and wife, Legally. Why don't they? Financially they would be screwed. Seems if you are on Social Security and you enter into a Marriage Contract as it is currently defined by DOMA, your benefits are decreased dramatically. They just can't afford to be married. They can however afford to live together. For some of these older people this was an insult, and an embarrassment. To "Shack Up" or " Live In Sin" but what other recourse did the government leave them? They have to eat and pay bills.

DOMA takes more away from marriage than it gives.

Saying No To Title X is PRO DEATH

 Republicans are attacking Planned Parenthood and Title X funding, Planned Parenthood has never performed any abortions to my knowledge so if it is a matter of Pro Life, they are way off the Mark. In fact  by stripping Planned Parenthood of these funds They are saying they are Pro Death.

Planned Parenthood provides essential screenings for Cervical Cancer, Breast Cancer, HIV, STD's and offers education and health care services and screenings to approximately one in five women in the United States, and the Demographic on these women are that they are the ones hardest hit by the economy. Perhaps The Republicans think their lives aren't worth saving.

November 19, 1863

The Bloodiest War ever fought on American Soil, The Civil War. It was fought to enforce The Constitution of The United States of America and to abolish slavery.  Slaves were being used to run plantations, mills, factories and in some cases used for forced breeding with no regard for their health or well being. They had no voice or representation. Even greater was the injustice, was that these slaves were forbidden to be educated, for if they were, then they would know that they were being mistreated. They had  no one to speak for them.

President Lincoln Spoke for Them with The Emancipation Proclamation. The Union waged war on the Confederacy and it's Unconstitutional Practices. The Civil War pitted Brother against brother in some cases, emotions ran high, but Lincoln and His Freedom Fighters never gave up.

The Union Forces won the Civil War and gave Freedom to The Slaves of The Confederacy. Collectively now through The Union they now had a Voice.

There was much blood shed during The Civil War to ensure that the Constitution of The United States of America was enforced. To take away people's right's today is like spitting in the face of those fallen soldiers.

My Father was a proud Steelworker and a Union member. He supported not just his Union but all of the Local Unions. He instilled in me at an early age that the Union worked together as a Family looking out for the best interests of each other. Making sure that their brothers and sisters in the Union were protected and their rights were preserved.

During Contract Negotiations they were able to have representation for Collective Bargaining to make sure that they received the best Health Care at The Best rates, after all they had served there employer well, shouldn't their Health and well being be important to their Employer as well?

My Father also taught me to never cross a picket line. This was something he believed very strongly in, to the point he stood in Solidarity with The Teachers and kept me home from school during strikes.He would often supply the picket line with Hot coffee. Solidarity For Our Unions.

I honour My father and all the hard working Men and Women who are fighting to keep their Collective Bargaining Rights. My Father was a Very wise Man.
